Barbara Simon, MD

Dr. Simon earned her MD from MCP-Hahnemann University and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She is the section chief of the Division of Endocrinology at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she has a clinical practice. Her interests include diabetes technology and intensive diabetes management, with a focus on patient education in the management of diabetes.

David Stein, MD

Dr. Stein currently serves as Chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital. He is also the Director and was the driving force behind the creation of the Drexel University College of Medicine's Mini-Medical School. In addition, he serves as the Director of Education and a Board Member of the Susan Cohan Kasdas Colon Cancer Foundation. Dr. Stein received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College and his medical degree from Downstate Medical College in New York. He completed his Colorectal Surgery training at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Joshua Stern, MD

Dr Joshua Stern went to college at Yeshiva University in New York and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in biology. After college, he attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York where he obtained his medical degree. Following medical school, he completed an internship and residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York. Currently he is in the midst of completing a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Besides for general Gastroenterology, Dr. Stern’s clinical and research interests are in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease).

Michael Page, MD

Dr. Page is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Wright State University College of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He spent 3 years in the laboratory of Dr. Walter Koltun where he received an NIH grant to study inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Page then went on to complete a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Victor Fishman, MD

Victor Fishman graduated cum laude from Yeshiva University in 1989. After completing a year of basic research at the Brain Tumor Research Center at the University California at San Francisco, he entered the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Fishman decided to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. This decision was in part made because he already had an interest in Gastroenterology and Temple is one of the leading centers. During residency he performed research in the area of botulinum toxin use in the esophageal motility disorder, achalasia. He won awards for his work both at Temple and at the Delaware Valley Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
